The young golfer will have numerous high-profile backers when she begins her LPGA debut on Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika competition in Florida.
The former president, someone who loves golf, owns numerous courses worldwide and often plays against his granddaughter.
"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we play competitive games," she revealed.
She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"He essentially suggested to play and relax," she explained.
"To me, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, so he's quite busy."
While still amateur, the golfer has participated in only three events in 2024 and maintains the 461st position in AJGA rankings.
Yet she can receive tips from golf legend, who is dating her mother.
"He stands as the top athlete worldwide," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's an even better person. He advised me to play, have fun, and go with the flow."
She'll challenge several most prominent players in women's golf at this tournament, featuring world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA stated that her participation helps introduce golf to wider groups, especially with younger fans.
The social media influencer maintains millions of followers and has started a personal apparel and wellness brand.
The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
